DIY Tuesday: King of the Castle Hat and Scarf | Gör-det-själv-tisdag: Herre på täppan-mössa och halsduk

I like small projects that don't take too much time to finish. And when I saw Pickles' King of the castle hat I knew I wanted to make one. Do you see the crown? Very funny.

Helt kul.

I used the suggested yarn (oh, how I find it difficult to stray away from instructions...) Pickles Extra Fine Merino in Platina and Crisp blue. The hat fits perfectly now, and I hope it'll last all spring. I made a matching scarf of leftover yarn. The nice jacket that would have gone super with the hat and scarf will have to wait until it's not 5 F outside.

Now I'll make one in dark grey and light green for Axel, and another kind of scarf, since he wanted to be a king too.

Bye bye!

PS Did you see that I managed to include a "like on Facebook" button below and a "follow on Twitter" button to the right? Am very proud, please like and follow if you want to.
